No, a referral is not necessary, you can book a consultation or have testing done without a referral. If however you have a health care practitioner and would like results to be forwarded to them you can request this at the time of testing.

The initial consultation involves a comprehensive assessment of your medical history, dietary habits, lifestyle, and health goals. We can review any previous blood or functional testing you have had done if appropriate. We will then work with you to create a personalised and tailored plan.

Testing the microbiome, SIBO testing, food intolerance testing and many other functional medicine tests are options to help identify what may be the root cause of your gut discomfort and help in creating a management plan that is specific and tailored to you individually. It takes out the ‘guess work’ and assumptions and can save time and energy. However, testing is not needed for everyone and is always optional.

Appointments can be rescheduled or canceled up to 48 hours in advance without penalty. Cancellations within 48 hours are charged 50% of the appointment fee, and same-day cancellations or no-shows incur the full fee.

Some private health funds cover our services and offer rebates. Please check with your health fund if they cover Naturopathy or Nutrition.

If you have been on a path for a long time and you haven’t had resolution, it’s time to adjust what has been done before and look for other root causes that have not been previously addressed. In 1:1 consultations, you are welcome to share previous treatments and results with us and we will listen and learn from what hasn’t helped in the past and formulate a new plan for you.

Absolutely. As integrative naturopaths, we can work alongside your existing healthcare team and work collaboratively to achieve optimal health outcomes for you. We have a team of professionals we also work with who we can refer to as needed.
